SOUTH ATTLEBORO - Hectorine "Memere" Lebeuf, 102, of South Attleboro passed away Tuesday, April 05, 2011. She was the wife of the late Hector Lebeuf.
Born in Canada she was the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and Ernestine (Lafond) Dextradeur.
"Memere" was the owner, along with her late husband, of the former Lobster Grill in South Attleboro. She loved to crochet many things for her loving family members,including hand towels, afghans and coat hangers. "Memere" lived her life to the fullest,enjoying traveling to Florida, Maine and Canada. She is survived by three daughters, Pearl Case and her husband John Jr. of South Attleboro, Pauline St. Pierre and her husband Frank of Texas and Rita Muldoon-Tranter and her husband Charles of Maine; a son, Richard J. Lebeuf and his wife Margaret of Knoxville, TN; twelve grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Juliette Cadorette and Marie-Ange Roy both of Canada and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 8 AM from the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in Saint Theresa Church, 18 Baltic Street, South Attleboro. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM.
