PAWTUCKET â€” Only 225 high school juniors and seniors from across the country, and only five from Rhode Island, were chosen to participate in the Bank of America Student Leaders program this year.
Thanks to their hard work and dedication to their communities, Ryan Gomes and Monitea Minea, were two of those students.
Gomes, a recent graduate of the Jacqueline M. Walsh School, and Minea, a senior at the William E. Tolman School, were both selected to participate in the program based on their extensive service work.
