PAWTUCKET — Brittany Leigh Gomes has had an affinity — and eye — for photography since she was just a young girl growing up in Pawtucket.
“I have loved photography for as long as I can remember,” said the 26-year-old Gomes. “My first camera was a Fisher-Price camera when I was a toddler and I have been upgrading ever since.
“It wasn't until I attended a wedding in 2007 that I fell in love with wedding photography.”
Gomes started a photography business in 2009 and has been slowly and steadily been building it ever since.
On Aug. 5, after having worked out of her home for the past three years, she opened Brittany Leigh Photography at 509 Armistice Blvd., Suite B, in Pawtucket.
“I love my job and look forward to every photo job I book,” she said. “Everything I photograph is special and I believe that is portrayed in my photographs.”
According to Gomes, love is amazing and a privilege to capture with her camera.
“Whether it is a couple in love, the love between parents and their children, or pets and their people, love is the most wonderful thing in this world,” she said. “My photography style is classically modern, which gives my photos a timeless look.”
Gomes is available for weddings, engagement sessions, civil unions, commitments ceremonies, family photo sessions, photos of newborns, infants and toddlers, pet photo sessions, senior portraits, head shots, and parties/events.
