Gladys D. Jaworski
PAWTUCKET Gladys D. Jaworski, 90, passed away Sunday March 2, 2014. She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Dr. Rudolf A. Jaworski Sr.
Born in Ludlow, MA she was a daughter of the late Jan and Josephine (Chlastawa) Duda. She lived in Pawtucket for the past 65 years.
A graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Gladys was a registered Nurse. She was a supporting citizen of the Polish American Community being an active Member of the Rhode Island Polonia Scholarship Foundation for many years. She was an parishioner of St. Joseph's Church of Central Falls.
Mrs. Jaworski leaves her loving family, one daughter, Judith R. Mulcahey and her husband Michael G. of Pawtucket, three sons, Rudolf A. Jaworski Jr. and his wife Susan of North Andover, MA, John J. Jaworski and his wife Nancy E. of Upton, MA and James J. Jaworski and his wife Elizabeth of Cranston, eleven grandchildren, Alexander F. Jaworski, Jeffrey, Amelia, Alexander Wolf-Jaworski, Kristen, Michael, Sarah and Matthew Mulcahey, James, Elizabeth and Jennifer Jaworski. She was the sister of the late Thomas and Mitchell Duda.
Her funeral will be held Thursday March 6, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend. CALLING HOURS WEDNESDAY FROM 4:00 P.M. TO 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations in Mrs. Jaworski's Memory to the Rhode Island Polonia Scholarship Foundation, 866 Atwells Avenue, Providence, RI 02909 would be greatly appreciated. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
