Gertrude M. Jameson
CUMBERLAND - Gertrude M. Jameson, 90 of Cumberland, formerly of Central Falls, died on Oct. 8 at Hospice Care of RI. She was the wife of the late Walter F. Jameson. Daughter of the late Oscar and Marie Rose (Racquier) St. Onge she was born in Central falls and lived there most of her life. She has been a waitress in local restaurants until her retirement several years ago.
Survivors are three sons, Walter E. Jameson of Florida, Kenneth R. Jameson of North Providence, and Ronald R. Jameson of Cranston. Three brothers, Robert St. Onge of California, Roger St. Onge of Attleboro and Lawrence St. Onge of Central Falls; one sister, Lillian Motyl of East Providence, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul Jameson and the sister of the late Loretta Audette, and was predeceased by nine siblings.
The funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Darlington Mortuary of L.Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Leo the Great Church, 699 Central Ave., Pawtucket. Calling hours are Wednesday (Oct. 12) from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Ave., Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to St. Leo the Great Church would be appreciated.
