George T. Leonard
CENTRAL FALLS - George T. Leonard, 84, passed December 5th at home with his wife by his side. He was the husband of Jeannette Leonard. They were married for 60 years.
George attended Holy Trinity School and Central Falls Trade School. He worked for 30 years at Collyer Wire of Pawtucket and Lincoln as an electrician. George was a Navy veteran of WWII.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Nancy Leonard of Central Falls and Joanne Greene of Clearwater, FL, a cousin Helen Gilligan of Pawtucket, and nephews. He was the brother of the late Clifton Leonard.
His funeral will be held Friday at 8:30am from the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Spirit Parish, Dexter St, Central Falls at 9:30am. Burial with military honors will be held in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited, calling hours will be held Thursday from 4 to 7pm.
