CRANSTON - George A. Bishop, Jr., 63, of Lillian Lane died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at home. He was the husband of Rosemary (Antico) Bishop.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of Ann M. (Goyette) Bishop of Pawtucket and the late George A. Bishop, Sr, who died on July 2nd. Mr. Bishop had lived in Merrimack, NH for 15 years and Apex, NC for 3 years before moving to Cranston this past February.
Mr. Bishop was a senior software engineer for Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, NH for 10 years and Durham, NC for 4 years. He was a graduate of Tolman High School and Blake Computer Institute.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by one daughter, Barbara Pomerleau of Cranston; one son, Brian Bishop of Pierce, CO; one stepdaughter, Sharon Lamoureux of North Providence; one sister, Linda Bishop and one brother, Steven Bishop, both of Pawtucket; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be held SATURDAY, JULY 14 at 2:30 P.M. at BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be private.
