Gary S. Larocque
GLOCESTER- Larocque, Gary S., 56, passed away suddenly Thursday May 31, 2012 at home. He was the devoted husband of Paulette F. (Coutu) Larocque.
He was born in Providence, a son of Doris (Marceau) Larocque of Rumford and the late William Larocque.
Gary was a master electrician and owner of Powerhorse Electric of Chepachet. He was a member of the Eastern CT Draft Horse Assoc.; loved antique collecting; was an avid Patriots fan and woodworker. He lived in Rumford before moving to Chepachet 23 years ago and was living his dream of owning his own farm "The Road Less Traveled".
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his brother William Larocque and his wife Kathleen of Barrington and his sister Lynn Ann and her partner Charlene of Rumford and several nieces and nephews. Gary will also be missed by his beloved dogs Timber and Tonic and his draft horse Blackee.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:15AM from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 AM in St. Eugene Church 1251 Putnam Pike, Chepachet. Burial will be in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet. Visitation Monday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tufts Cummings Veterinary Fund, attn: Dr. Armelle Delaforcade, 200 Westboro Rd., North Grafton, MA 01536-1828.
