Frank S. Moskal
PAWTUCKET- Frank S. Moskal 87, of Pine Grove Street passed away Thursday March 1, 2012 at Steere House in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Helen A. (Niziolek) Moskal.
Born in South Attleboro he was a son of the late Joseph and Frances (Bartkiewicz) Moskal. He lived in Pawtucket for the past 60 years.
Before retiring he was employed as a Shipper for Teknor-Apex Co. of Pawtucket.
Frank was a WWII Army PFC assigned to the 392nd Medical Call Company at Omaha Beach serving on D-Day Plus One. He served in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. He was a member of the Fierlit-Korzen A.L. Post #79 of Central Falls. He was also a member of Polonia of Rhode Island and a member of the Polish Sub Committee of Rhode Island Heritage Commission.
Besides his wife he leaves his loving daughter Joanne M. Haworth and her husband George W. Haworth Jr. of Seekonk, two cherished grandchildren Victoria and Jonathan Haworth, 1 brother Henry Moskal of Cranston, nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Adele Koza-Greene, Jaye Chabot, John, Walter and Thaddeus Moskal.
A Funeral with Military Honors will be held Monday March 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Josephs Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend and may call at the Funeral Home Monday morning. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations in Mr. Moskal's Memory to Visiting Nurse Service of Greater Rhode Island 6 Blackstone Valley Place, Suite 515 Lincoln, RI 02865 or St. Josephs Church Renovation Fund would be greatly appreciated.
