Flavia A. DaCosta
PAWTUCKET - Flavia A. (Barros) DaCosta, 79, of John Street, passed away Tuesday at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Antonio DaCosta.
Born in Valley Falls, she was the daughter of the late Leonel and Margarida (Campos)Barros. She resided in Pawtucket for many years.
She was employed as a Sample Supervisor for Hasbro Inc. of Pawtucket for 15 years.
She was a communicant of St. Mary Church, Pawtucket.
She leaves her daughter, Mary Ledoux of Pawtucket; one sister, Rita Nunes of Raynham, MA; and two grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Antonio DaCosta, and sister of the late Frank Barros and Leo Barros.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 10 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Mary Church, Pine Street, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Friday, 4-8 PM.
