Exilda M. Doucette
PAWTUCKET - Exilda M. Doucette, 91, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 16, 2013 at Pawtucket Skilled Nursing Facility. She was the beloved wife of Roland G. Doucette to whom she was married for 73 years.
She was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Louis and Dorina (Paquette) Morin and was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket. Mrs. Doucette was a sales associate in the former Apex Department store retiring after 32 years of exceptional customer service.
She was a former member of the Central Falls Community Center.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter Doris and her husband Robert Goyette of Pawtucket; her sons, Roland and his wife Suzanne of Cumberland; and Richard and his wife Marie of Woonsocket; two sisters, Eva Walker of Attleboro, and Rita Sonntag of Pawtucket, and a brother Normand Morin of CT; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ruth Armor, Dorina Wilson, Arthur and William Morin.
Her funeral will be held from the Darlington Mortuary, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket on Friday, September 20, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Cecilia's Church, Blessed John Paul II Parish, Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket. Calling hours Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
