Everett R. Williams
LINCOLN - Everett R. Williams 93, of Lincoln, beloved husband of Dorothy Hoyt, passed peacefully Sunday, July 24th at Grandview Center, Cumberland.
He was the son of the late Albert and Anna (Kenworthy) Williams.
Mr. Williams was a toolmaker at Electric Boat in Quonset Point at the time of his retirement in 1985.
He was a passionate trout fisherman and enjoyed the peace and quiet he found in small streams in wooded areas. He was also an avid gardener.
He was a past master and a lifetime member of E.L. Freeman Lodge, now Jenks Lodge #24.
He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for 7 years.
He leaves two daughters, Judith Depointe and Carol Minton of Pawtucket, ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren, four step-children, four step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Marion Williams, his son Timothy Williams, his step daughter, Donna Hoyt and siblings, Marion Fury, Mildred White, Edith Turcotte and Albert Ousley.
A memorial Service will be held July 30th at 5:00 PM at the Sayles Memorial Congregational Church, 185 Chapel St., Lincoln.
A Masonic Service will be conducted by Jenks Lodge #24 during the collation following the Memorial Service.
Burial will be private. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made in memory of Everett R. Williams to the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., 921 Jefferson Blvd., Warwick, RI, 02886
