PAWTUCKET- Ella H.(Palagi) Krzak, 93, formerly of Pawtucket died Saturday March 24, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Stanley Krzak.
Mrs. Krzak was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Pietro and Severina (Finucci) Palagi.
She worked for the family business of Palagi Ice Cream and in the office Dupree Oil for many years.
Mrs. Krzak was a longtime parishioner of St. Teresa's Church in Pawtucket, and a member of the Woman's Club there. She truly enjoyed her summers in Baysprings where all her 10 siblings and their families gathered for boating, clambakes, and great family fun.
Mrs. Krzak is survived by her daughters, Karen Ouhrabka and her husband Thomas of East Greenwich, and Joan Ziegltrum of Washington State. She also leaves her sister Matilda Clark of Lincoln and her grandchildren, Eric, Brian, Jillian, Kate Ouhrabka, Anne and Michael Ziegltrum, Mackenzie OConnor and Danielle Dagnese. She was the mother in law of Patricia Krzak and the mother of the late Robert Krzak. Mrs. Krzak also had three great grandchildren.
The funeral for Mrs. Krzak will be Thursday March 29, at 9:00 a.m. from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. her burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery.
