Elizabeth A. Hogan
CUMBERLAND - Elizabeth A. "Bettie" Hogan (Coleman), 79, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at Mt. St. Rita Health Center, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Hogan.
Born in Cumberland she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Elizabeth (Crozier) Coleman. She was a lifelong Cumberland resident.
Mrs. Hogan was employed by the Secretary of State's Office for 32 years retiring in 1998. She was a communicant of St. Patrick Church, Cumberland.
She leaves three children: Joanne Klecha of Montrose, PA, Michael Hogan and wife Karen, Linda Cardoso and husband Stephen all of Cumberland. Also surviving are three sisters: Rosemary Jones of Narragansett, Margaret Coletta of Connecticut and Catherine Joly of Cumberland. She also leaves nine grandchildren, Amanda Wilbur, Pamela, Michael, Joseph and Edward Klecha of Pennsylvania, Kim Hogan of Lincoln, Nancy Minson, Jared and Tyler Cardoso all of Cumberland; five great grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas and Dominic Wilbur, Carter Minson and Paige Holmes and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John S. Coleman.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Broad St., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
