LINCOLN- Edward S. Marcinkiewicz 83, of Franklin Street passed away Tuesday February 8, 2011 at the Pawtucket Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Delphine (Charbonneau) Marcinkiewicz.
Born in Ipswich, MA he was a son of the late Stanley and Anna (Iwiecz) Marcinkiewicz. He lived in Lincoln for the past 16 years and was formerly of Pawtucket.
Before retiring in 1966 he was a Police Officer for the City of Pawtucket for 14 years.
Mr. Marcinkiewicz served with the First Marine Division as a Technical Sergeant during the Korean Conflict.
Besides his wife he leaves 1 daughter Valerie J. Thibault of Pawtucket, 1 sister Barbara Sims of Cumberland, 1 grandson, 3 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday February 11, 2011 at 8:30 AM from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Prayer Service in the Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. CALLING HOURS FRIDAY FROM 8:30 AM TO 9:45 AM. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
