PAWTUCKET - Edith E. (Hey) Brennan, 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2012. She was the former wife of the late James E. Brennan.
Born in Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late John and Lucinda(Cowdell) Hey.
Edith was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Pawtucket F.O.P. Lodge # 4, and enjoyed sewing and knitting.
She leaves four children, Michael J. Brennan and his wife, Marjorie of Warwick, Maureen J. Brennan and her husband, Cal Phillips of Haines City, Florida, Mark J. and Mary J. Brennan both of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Andrea Massey, Samantha Quaglia, Matthew and Marcus Brennan; four great-grandchildren and a brother, George Hey of Cumberland. She was the sister of the late Edna Winterbottom and Rhoda Brady.
Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. VISITATION will be Thursday 5 to 7 p.m. If desired, gifts in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 will be appreciated.
