Edgar G. Robideau
CENTRAL FALLS - Edgar G. Robideau, 73, of Central Falls, died on Saturday at the Home & Hospice Care of RI in Providence. He was the husband of Therese (Martin) Robideau and had been a resident of Central Falls for over 40 years.
Born in Cumberland, a son of the late Henry and Yvonne (Lemay) Robideau, he was a communicant of Holy Spirit Catholic Community.
Prior to retirement nine years ago, he had been employed as a machinist at Owens-Corning Fiber Glass for 20 years and subsequently at Chadwick's Yarn.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Donna Zaccaria of Pawtucket and a sister, Anita Robideau of Cranston, two grandsons, Michael and Christopher, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Theresa Richard and Gerard Robideau.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m, from the DARLINGTON MORTUARY of L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Matthew Church, 1030 Dexter St., Central Falls.Calling hours will be Tuesday, 5-8 p.pm. Burial will be private.
