Dorothy M. Andrews
CUMBERLAND - Dorothy M. (Thompson) Andrews, 85, of Meadow Avenue passed away surrounded by her loving family Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Warren C. Andrews.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Malcolm E. and Elizabeth P. (Montgomery) Thompson, she had lived in Cumberland and was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church for the past 57 years. She was previously employed by Hasbro in the toy industry. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, knitting, and hosting her family at home.
She is survived by two sons, Edward M. Andrews and his wife, Bernadette of Lincoln and Martin P. Andrews and his wife, Jeanne of West Warwick; four daughters, Kathleen M. Morgan and her husband, Robert of Burrillville, Deborah L. English and her husband, Kenneth of Cumberland, Laura L. Barry and her husband, David of Barrington and Lynn M. Burns and her husband, Kevin of Cumberland; one sister, Lois E. Barry of Pawtucket; one brother, John M. Thompson of Narragansett; seventeen grandchildren; four great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Edward, Joseph and Betty Thompson.
Her funeral will be held WEDNESDAY, APRIL 20 at 8:30 A.M. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in St. Patrick's Church, 301 Broad Street, Cumberland. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
