PROVIDENCE- Dorothy M. Alker, 102, of Benefit Street died Friday, November 29, 2013 at Hallworth House, Providence.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late William E. and Agnes (Shaw) Alker, she had lived in Pawtucket for 45 years and Cranston for 40 years before moving to Providence several years ago.
Miss Alker was the executive secretary to the Vice President of the Trust Department of the former Rhode Island Hospital Trust National Bonk, Providence for 40 years before retiring in 1971.
She is survived by two nephews, Edward A. Alker of Pawtucket and William A. Alker of Yonkers, NY; and two grandnephews, Keith and Eric Hammerschlag. She was the aunt of the late Elizabeth A. Hammerschlag.
