SOUTH ATTLEBORO - Dorothy H. Jannerelli, 90, of Cumberland Avenue died Monday, September 4, 2012 in Kindred Hospital, Stoughton after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Jannerelli who passed away in 1979.

Born January 25, 1922 in North Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late George Kettell and Grace (Howard) Arns.

Dorothy grew up in Pawtucket and North Attleboro and was a 1940 graduate of Pawtucket East High School. She devoted much of her life to being a homemaker and raising her three children. She was active in local senior clubs including the Peal Club where she served as "Sunshine Lady" for over 25 years and the seniors group at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Seekonk.

She especially enjoyed day trips around New England with the senior groups.

Dorothy loved food and was also a great cook.

She is survived by three children: Gail Jannerelli of North Attleboro, Linda Sampson of Laconia, NH and Paul Jannerelli and his wife Cindy of Smithfield, RI; three grandchildren: Joia, Christina and Michael; two great-grandchildren: Tommy and Gracie and her beloved cat, Gilbert.

Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.

A funeral service will be held at the First Congregation Church of North Attleboro "Oldtown Church", 675 Old Post Road, North Attleboro on Friday, September 7 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Newell Burying Ground, South Attleboro.
