Donna M. Genereux
LINCOLN - Donna M. Genereux, 56 of Lonsdale Ave. passed away Thursday in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the companion of John Badessa for the past 12 years.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of Alice M. (Carvalho) Bastien of Lincoln and the late Richard E. Bastien. She resided in Lincoln for the past 10 years, previously residing in Blackstone and was raised in Cumberland.
She was employed by Bank of America for 21 years where she was the Head Teller of the Park Square Branch.
She was a communicant of St. Jude Church, Lincoln.
Beside her mother, she leaves one son Derek Genereux of Wayne, OK and one daughter Jennifer Hall of West Warwick. Two brothers Richard M. Bastien and Paul E. Bastien both of Cumberland. Three sisters Janice Silva of Tiverton; Lisa Bastien of East Greenwich and Lori Afonso of Colchester, CT. She also leaves six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Monday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Calling hours Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland.
