Donald C. Turcotte
PAWTUCKET - Donald "Don" C. Turcotte, 70, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 22, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Katherine L. (Connor) Turcotte for 25 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Charles J., Sr. & Cecelia (Phillips) Turcotte.
Don served in the United States Army and then worked as a truck driver and instructor at M.S. Carriers and several other companies for over 35 years. Don also worked for the Rhode Island Medical Examiners Office for 10 years. He was an avid stamp and coin collector; enjoyed classical music, and had a great sense of humor.
Besides his loving wife, Don leaves his three children, Donald A. Turcotte of Warwick, Dawn M. Diogo of Woonsocket and Tammy A. Turcotte-Raposo of Warwick; four siblings, Charles J. Turcotte, Jr. of Fall River, Ronald F. Turcotte of Hinesville, GA, Dennis J. Turcotte of Cumberland and Linda Turcotte of Pawtucket; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITATION Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. At the request of Don and his family, and in celebration of his life, please wear festive and brightly colored clothing.
