Dolores Marie Neville
PAWTUCKET - Dolores Marie (Lindemann) Neville, 84, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully in the company of her family Aug. 1 at Scallop Shell Nursing Home in Wakefield, after an extended illness. She had been a professional educator and held teaching and administrative positions in the Providence and Pawtucket school systems, most notably at Meeting St. School, Governor Center School and Shea High School.
She was born March 16, 1927 in Providence to the late Albert and Agnes Lindemann (O'Hern). Dolores was married to the late Norman (Dutch) Neville and resided most of her adult life in Pawtucket where she raised five children.
She is survived by her children Norman Neville, MD and his wife Brita Krug, of Grafing,Germany, Debra Neville-Palmer and her husband Randy Palmer, of Lunenburg, MA, Pamela Neville and her partner Judy Burns of Jamestown and Donna Neville-DeAngelis and her husband Joe DeAngelis, of Cranston and Jamestown; by her siblings Albert Lindemann, Jr. of Charlottesville, VA, Lois Harrington of Warwick and Donna McBurney of Kingston. In addition she is survived by her 6 grandchildren, Erica Palmer, Tarin Palmer, Julian Neville, and Nicolas, Amelie and Lucas Krug. She was preceded in death by her husband Dutch, her daughter Kathleen and her sister Joan Horn.
She graduated as valedictorian of her class from St. Patrick's School in 1944 in Providence. She went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1948 and a Masters Degree in Special Education in 1965, both from Rhode Island College.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, Aug. 6 at 9 AM from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Calling hours are Friday, Aug. 5 from 4-7 PM. Burial will follow at Mt. Saint Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.
