LINCOLN- Dennis P. Pacheco Sr, 90, of Lincoln Manor, passed away Tuesday at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Beatrice (Levesque) Pacheco, and they had been married 66 years.
Born in East Providence, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Botelho) Pacheco. He resided on Webster Street in Lincoln for 28 years, moving to California for 10 years, and returning to Lincoln in 1992.
Mr. Pacheco was a United States Navy, World War II and Korean War Veteran.
Dennis was employed as a Plant Manager for Dryvit Systems for 12 years until retiring in 1989. He was previously employed by Pascale Trucking.
He was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church. He loved to read, garden and paint.
Besides his beloved wife, he leaves four sons, Dennis Pacheco of Woburn, MA, Kenneth Pacheco of Vancouver, WA, Robert Pacheco of Fallbrook, CA and Gary Pacheco of Lincoln; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Alex Pacheco, Billie Pacheco, Sarah Pacheco and Ricky Pacheco.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 8:30 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Ambrose Church, School Street, Albion. Burial will follow in St. Ambrose Cemetery, Albion. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours respectfully omitted.
