David W. Greenwood
PAWTUCKET - David W. Greenwood, 45, of Sayles Avenue, Pawtucket died August 22, 2012.
Mr. Greenwood was born in Pawtucket, the son of William M. Greenwood and Doris (Alarie) Greenwood. He was a self employed telemarketer.
Mr. Greenwood was a longtime political activist in the City of Pawtucket. He was a staunch supporter of a fair and honest government for all the citizens in and around his beloved Pawtucket. David was a dedicated fan of the Boston Red Sox and though he loved all sports the Red Sox were always his favorite team.
Besides his parents David is survived by his daughter Amanda M. Greenwood of Seekonk Ma., an Uncle Albert an Aunt Dorothy and an Aunt Margaret all of Connecticut an an Aunt Mary Doris of Alabama. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
The funeral for Mr. Greenwood will be Tuesday at 9:00 am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Marys Church, Pine Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. His calling hours will be Monday 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
