David W. Grayko
PAWTUCKET -David "Davey" W. Grayko, 75, of Pawtucket passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 after a brief illness. He was the loving husband of Shirley A. (Laprade) Grayko. They were married for 58 years. Son of the late Alexander W. Grayko and Beatrice (Cameron) Grayko. He lived most of his life in Pawtucket. Mr. Grayko served overseas in the Military Police during Korean Conflict. He held the rank of Desk Sgt. He was an avid spearfisherman and scuba diver and a long-time member of the Old Colony Amphibians dive club. He worked at Texas Instruments for many years as a quality control technician before retiring.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children David R. Grayko of Lake Luzerne, NY; Kim Benyon of Pawtucket; Mark Grayko of Pawtucket and Brian Grayko of Cranston. His sister Janice St. Louis. His grandchildren Justin Benyon, Michael Grayko, Kerri-Lynn Benyon, Kayla Grayko and Tyler Grayko; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
