David Bradbury

NORTH SCITUATE - David Bradbury, 60, entered into eternal life on Friday, November 16, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Karen A. (O'Brien) Bradbury for 37 years.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Frank Everett and Barbara (Sylvia) Bradbury. David was a class of 1975 graduate of Bryant College with a BS & BA. He worked as a controller at Tri-Town Community Action Program, Johnston, for many years until retiring. David was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, No. Scituate, where he was a member of the parish finance committee. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Feeney Council, North Scituate and also involved in the North Providence Substance Abuse Taskforce and a Past-President of Fairlawn Girls Sports. David will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was not only the patriarch of the family, he was an especially devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Besides his loving wife, he leaves his dear aunt, Janet Kenahan-Hanrahan; three daughters, Marissa J. Isbill and her husband, Travis of Medford, MA, Jessica L. Bradbury of East Providence and Alicia L. Castellanos and her husband, Gerardo of Somerset, MA; three grandchildren, Sierra Dawn Isbill, Lily May Isbill and Xavier David Castellanos. He was the brother of Margaret Raymond, Frank, Robert and Helen Bradbury. He also leaves many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 155 Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will be private. VISITATION will be Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Dana-Farber Institute, C/O William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 will be appreciated.
