David B. Richards
PAWTUCKET - David B. Richards, 45, of Pawtucket, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 10, 2011 at home.
Born in Pawtucket he was the son of Barbara Richards of Pawtucket and the late Raymond Lugiski.
Mr. Richards served in the US Marines and the Army Reserves. He was an Auxiliary Policeman for Pawtucket Housing Authority, a Guard at the ACI and he also worked for the City of Pawtucket for many years until retiring due to illness. He was a lifetime member and on the board at Societe Jacques Cartier #4 in Pawtucket. He was an avid camper, motorcycle rider, loved going to the ocean and will be greatly missed in the hearts of his family for a lifetime.
Besides his mother he is survived by two daughters, Shawna and Danielle Richards, both of Pawtucket; a granddaughter, Mackenzie Clearo; a sister, Michelle Richards of Pawtucket and a step brother Joseph Lugiski also of Pawtucket. He also leaves his beloved dog, Thor.
A service will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 7 PM in the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. Burial will be private. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-7 PM in the funeral home prior to the servive. For online condolences www.rifuneral.com
