ATTLEBORO- Czeslaw Malek 64, passed away at his residence Sunday April 22, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Kozera) Malek.
Born in Wroclaw, Poland he was a son of the late Jozef and Weronika (Ciecko) Malek. He lived in South Attleboro for the past 13 years and was formerly of Pawtucket and Pennsylvania.
Before retiring he owned and operated Malek Commercial Cleaning Co. for 12 years and prior to that he worked for the former LLV Grumman Co. of PA as an Assembler for 10 years. Mr. Malek was an avid Historian.
He was a member of the Pulaski Mutual Aid Society Of Central Falls.
Besides his wife he leaves his loving children, one daughter Anna Kazimierz of Poland, three sons Witold Malek of Williamsport, PA, Artur Rokosz and Tomasz Malek both of Attleboro, three sisters Helena Polinska and Janina Niebylska both of Poland and Danuta Zbroszczyk of Canada, 2 brothers Zygmunt Malek of Poland and Boleslaw Malek of Canada, 6 grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Bogumila Malek.
His funeral will be held Wednesday April 25, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalberts Church 866 Atwells Avenue Providence at 10:00 a.m. CALLING HOURS TUESDAY FROM 4:00 PM TO 7:00 PM. Burial will be in Poland.
