Cumberland American ready for some Texas heat

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The players are having as much fun as the players from 2011 did.
The coaches, though, have changed their message a bit this time.
The Cumberland American Little League is back at the Little League World Series for a second time in four years. And this time it thinks it can stay a little longer.
The New England champions went 1-2 three years ago, being eliminated after their first two games and then winning a consolation game. Lessons were learned and expectations are a little different this time.
“We’re so glad to be here and just as excited, but we’re more in tune that we belong,” said Cumberland manager Dave Belisle, also the manager from the 2011 team.
