Clifford M. Wroe
CUMBERLAND - Clifford M. Wroe 85, of Mendon Road passed away Monday August 15, 2011. He was the beloved husband of Lillian F. (Warchol) Wroe. They would have been married 50 years in November.
Born in Pawtucket he was a son of the late James W. and Frances (Lee) Wroe Sr. He lived in Cumberland for the past 18 years.
Before retiring he was employed as a Time Keeper in the Blackstone Valley area Textile Mills.
Mr. Wroe was a WWII Army Veteran.
Besides his wife he leaves 1 sister May Lauzon of Central Falls, nieces and nephews. He was the brother of Betsy, Richard, James, Thomas, Clarence Wroe and Frances Evans.
His funeral will be held Saturday August 20, 2011 at 9:00 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church 391 High Street Central Falls at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend and may call at the Funeral Home Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Burial will be in Moshassuck Cemetery Central Falls.
