Cecile G. Lemieux
CUMBERLAND - Cecile G. (Provost) Lemieux, 80, of High St., passed away Friday at the home of her daughter Suzanne Depot. She was the wife of the late Richard Lemieux.
Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late Henry and Marie R. (Vincent) Provost. She had resided in Cumberland for the past 13 years having lived in Pawtucket most of her life. She was a devoted wife and mother to her loving family.
Besides her daughter Suzanne Depot she leave eight other children, Ronald R. Lemieux of Norton, MA; Michael Lemieux of North Attleboro; Richard Lemieux of Glocester, RI; Normand Lemieux of Pawtucket; James Lemieux of Swansea; Robert Lemieux and Marie Young both of Cumberland and Lea Moitoso of Rehoboth. She also leaves five siblings, Lucien and Joseph Provost of Pawtucket; Rita Perreault of Cumberland; Rosemarie Longton of Warwick and Roger Provost of South Attleboro. She also leaves 30 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Rolande Bussiere; Jeannette Courtemanche; Leo and Henry Provost.
A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte.122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Aidan Church, Diamond Hill Rd., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
