PAWTUCKET - Moreau, Catherine ("Kay") M. a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, Rhode Island died July 10, 2012 at The Philip Hulitar Center, Providence, RI. She was the widow of Leonard J. Moreau.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Edward F. and Catherine (Lynsky) O' Donnnell.
She leaves four daughters, Ann Rankowitz of Santa Ana, CA, Catherine Moreau and Mary Moreau of Pawtucket, Elizabeth Huber of Providence; three sons, James F. Moreau of Pawtucket, Leonard J. Moreau of Tustin, CA, and Thomas J. Moreau of Newton, Massachusetts, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Theresa Foley, Gertrude Gilbane, Helen McArdle, Dorothy Malo, and Lawrence O'Donnell. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Kay, was a communicant of St. Leo the Great Church where she served in care of the sacristy for many years. Along with her husband Kay was active in the parish's Christian Family Movement. Earlier in her life she was also active in the FISH program at the former St. Martin's church in Pawtucket.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Friday, July 13, 2012 from 4-8Pm in the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10a.m. at St. Leo the Great Church of Blessed Pope John Paul II Parish, 697 Central Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI.
