BVCAP confers GEDs to 57 grads

PAWTUCKET — The Blackstone Valley Community Action Program held its annual commencement exercises Friday morning at St. Paul's Church at 50 Park Place. Fifty-seven students received their General Equivalency Diploma (GED) through BVCAP this year.
Lammis J. Vargis, from the Office of Mayor Donald Grebien, attended as the mayor's representative because he had a last-minute scheduling conflict. The RSVP Seniors for Jazz Band performed.
