Bridge is subject of poster for arts festival

July 21, 2012

PAWTUCKET — The energy and sense of renewal surrounding the construction of the I-95 Pawtucket River bridge has made it a fitting subject for this year's Pawtucket Arts Festival poster.
A painting called “Transformation” by Pawtucket artist C.C. Wolf (Carolyn Wolf Simon) has been selected to grace the limited edition poster that is used to promote the 2012 Pawtucket Arts Festival. The painting, done in watercolor and gouache, depicts the bridge construction site amidst a city backdrop as imagined by Wolf. The posters were designed by Malcom Grear Designers, Inc. and printed on high quality paper at Iolabs Inc.
