Astrid Riecken was born in Hamburg, West Germany. She left her country to move to the US in 1993. This year she returned to Berlin to accompany a dance troupe of The Berlin Wall Project. Her photographic essay is a testimony on what is left of the Berlin Wall after its fall 20 years ago.
