Blanche S. Prevost
PAWTUCKET - Blanche S. (Pieretti) Prevost 91, died Sunday at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Lester F. Prevost. Born in Pawtucket and a lifelong resident of the city she was the daughter of the late Venanzio and Nella (Pieretti) Pieretti.
She was a communicant of St Leo the Great Church and held membership in the Spirited Seniors, and the Widows Clubs of the Parish. She was a former CCD Teacher and Den Mother receiving the Pelican Medal for Religious Education.
Surviving are one son Michael V. Prevost and his wife Christine of Buzzard Bay, MA and one daughter Gloria A. Prevost of Pawtucket. One grandson Lane Prevost and one grand daughter Traci Prevost both of NY and two Great grand nieces. One brother-in -law Harold Hardman husband of her late sister Theresa Hardman. Mrs Prevost was also predeceased by her siblings: George, Felix and Henry Pieretti and her sister Lola Pieretti.
The Funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 am from the CHEETHAM MORTUARY 1012 Newport Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am in St Leo the Great Church Central Ave. Burial will be in Mt St Mary's Cemetery.
