Bernard M. Partridge
PAWTUCKET - Bernard M. "Mickey" Partridge of Dora Street, Pawtucket, died June 24, 2011 under Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island. He was born in Pawtucket, the beloved son of the late Edward M. and Ruth M. (Carroll) Partridge.
While serving his country by doing a tour of Vietnam in the U.S. Army, he attained the rank of Sergeant. Upon returning home, he worked as a welder for Electric Boat in Quonset Point for many years.
Mr. Partridge leaves his brothers, Thomas and his wife Amelia of Pascoag, Dennis and his wife Elaine of Cumberland, Vincent and his wife Hazel of Dover, Delaware, a sister Ruth Ann Moore and her husband Michael of Lincoln and sister-in-law Charlotte, widow of the Late Edward M. Partridge of Pawtucket. He also leaves 9 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews including two Goddaughters, Erin Partridge Shone of Warwick and Alyssa Moore of Pawtucket.
Mr. Partridge's funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Mary's Church, Pine Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Fund in Bernard's memory. A committal ceremony will be held on July 5th at 9:00 am at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI. For directions and guest book signatures, please visit manningheffern.com
