Beatrice V. Sirois
PAWTUCKET - Beatrice V. Sirois, 93, of Pawtucket, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012. She was the wife of Robert Sirois. They were happily married for sixty four years and were lifelong residents of Pawtucket.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Ovila and Anna (Poulette) Dufort. She was a longtime volunteer for Jeanne Jugan Little Sisters of the Poor and Notre Dame Hospital Women's Auxiliary. She was an avid sports fan.
Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Dennis Sirois and his wife Gail, Philip Sirois and his wife Laurie, Peter Sirios and his wife Margaret, and Richard Sirois; two daughters, Adele DeFonzo and her husband Alfred, and Paula Fahlman and her husband Peter; a sister, Irene Courtois; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Annette Dufort, Marion Butler, Ovila, Horace, and Raymond Dufort.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in Saint Cecila's Church of Blessed Pope John Paul II Parish, 1253 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. Visiting hours Tuesday 5-8pm in the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket.
