Barbara Mae Sullivan
LINCOLN - Barbara Mae (Gorman) Sullivan, 83, passed into Eternal Life on September 8, 2011 after a brief illness.
Born in Central Falls, RI she was the devoted wife of the late Raymond J. Sullivan, Sr., and the only child of Peter A. and Alice (Pearson) Gorman. Mrs. Sullivan, a homemaker, lived most of her adult life in Pawtucket before moving to Lincoln. She is survived by her five children, Carol A. Haynes and her husband Frank of Beverly, MA, Peter A. Sullivan and his wife Janice of East Greenwich, Raymond J. "Chip" Sullivan, Jr. of West Warwick, Barbara M. "Robin" Sullivan of Novi, MI and Dr. Daniel P. Sullivan and his wife Lisa of Warwick. She was the loving grandmother of six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was an active parishioner of St. Leo the Great in Pawtucket and later at St. Ambrose in Albion.
The funeral will be held Monday, September 12, 2011 at 9 AM from the O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 3102 Mendon Road (Route 122), Cumberland, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Saint Ambrose Church, 191 School Street, Albion. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours, Sunday 4-7 PM.
