Arthur E. DeLange Jr. (NO PHOTO)
PAWTUCKET - Arthur E. DeLange Jr., died at Home & Hospice Care of RI in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Battista) DeLange, to whom he had been married for 57 years.
Born in the Bronx, NY, a son of Arthur and Anna (O'Connor) DeLange, he had been employed for many years as a printer at various local companies, including the former E.L. Freeman Co. and the J.C. Hall Company of Pawtucket prior to retirement in 1993.
He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church (now Holy Family Parish) in Pawtucket. He was a former member of LeFoyer. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Donna DeLange of Pawtucket; two sons, Stephen DeLange of Pawtucket and Kevin DeLange (wife Jacqueline) of Seekonk; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; one sister, Anne O'Connor of Garnersville, N.Y., three brothers, Robert and William DeLange, both of Florida, and Stephen DeLange of Connecticut.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the DARLINGTON MORTURY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 195 Walcott St., Pawtucket. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Mary Cemetery in Pawtucket. Calling hours in the funeral home will be on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Hospice Care of RI, 1085 N. Main St., Providence, RI 02904 would be appreciated.
