Arthur A. Boudreau
PAWTUCKET - Arthur A. Boudreau, 99, died peacefully on Saturday, April 6th at the Jeanne Jugan Residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Beatrice (Cadieux) Boudreau to whom he was married for 60 years until her passing.
Mr. Boudreau was born in Manitoba, Canada, the son of the late Firmin and Marilda (Beaudoin) Boudreau. He was a resident of Seekonk and Attleboro prior to moving to Jeanne Jugan. He was a toolroom foreman at Hasbro, Inc. for many years and was the owner/operator of Mr. Arthur's Beauty Center in Seekonk for 20 years prior to his retirement.
He was a member of the Attleboro Knights of Columbus. Arthur was an avid golfer at Stone-E-Lea Golf Course; he was also loved to play cards and dance.
He leaves his children Connie Boudreau of North Providence and Donald and wife Carol Boudreau of Loxahatchee, FL, a sister Germaine Katlorski and a dear companion Fern Magson. He was a proud Pepre to four grandchildren and Gran-Pepre to 6 great-grandchildren and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Lea Marcoux, Jackie Martel, Lilian Dube Doyle, Norman Boudreau and Raymond Boudreau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Chapel of the Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main Street, Pawtucket on Tuesday, April 9th at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours at the Jeanne Jugan Residence on Monday, April 8th from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Jeanne Jugan would be appreciated.
