Arthur A. Bonneau
PAWTUCKET - Arthur A. Bonneau, 86, formerly of Pawtucket, died on Dec. 29 at the Briarcliff Manor. He was the husband of the late Rita (Lemay) Bonneau and had been a resident of Pawtucket for 64 years. Prior to retirement in 1986, he had been employed as a custodian in the Pawtucket school system, and previously as a short order cook at the former Lovely's Diner.
He was a communicant of St. Leo the Great Church and a member of its Senior Citizens Club. He had served in the US Navy in the Pacific Theater during WWII. He was a member of the MORA Club and of the AFSCME Local 1352 of the Pawtucket School Department.
Survivors are one son, Ronald Bonneau of Pawtucket, and one daughter, Denise Bonneau of Riverside; four grandchildren: Shawn, Kelly, Jerry and Chris Lampinski; two great-grandchildren: Dylan and Ethan; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by by six siblings.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. In the DARLINGTON MORTUARY OF L. HEROUX & SON, 1042 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Calling hours will be on Monday from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket.
