REHOBOTH - Kanarian, Armenouhi (Pahigian), 90, a longtime resident of Rehoboth, MA, passed away peacefully January 14, 2013 at the Life Care Center, Attleboro, MA. Born in Lowell, MA to the late Verkin and Armenag Pahigian. She was raised in Boston, MA. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Norire Kanarian with whom she owned and operated the Avenue Superette in Pawtucket for many years.
Her constant love and words of wisdom will last forever in the hearts of her son Kirk, his wife Sharon, their daughter Demi her husband Rich Mills and their children; their son Covey his wife Wendy and their children. Also her son Greg Kanarian, his wife Linda, their daughter Cherilyn and her family. She was the sister to the late Zareh Pahigian.
She was a longtime volunteer at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA, an avid supporter of Armenian causes and a member of the Ladies Guild of St. Vartanatz Armenian Apostolic Church in Providence.
A Life Celebration will be held on Friday June 7th at 11AM in the Redwood Chapel at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to:
