Armed robbery, shooting at city furniture store

PAWTUCKET —Pawtucket Police are seeking information about an armed robbery and shooting that occurred Monday at around 10:45 a.m. at the Barbosa Furniture store at 599 Main St.
According to Major Arthur Martins, police received a report of a shooting at the store. When they arrived, they found two men who had appeared to have been shot. Both victims were alert and did not seem to have life-threatening injuries.
The victims were identified as Francisco Barbosa, 82, who sustained a superficial wound to the abdomen area and to his hand; and Gabriel Barbosa, 58, who received an injury to the back of his head. Police said it is undermined at this point whether this was a gunshot wound.
