Armand E. Lapierre
SARASOTA, Fla. - Armand E. Lapierre, 84, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2010. He was the beloved husband of the late Laura M. (Marcotte) Lapierre.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Alfred G. Lapierre, Sr. and Diana M. (Beauchaine) Lapierre. Armand was a longtime resident of Pawtucket before moving to Florida, after retirement he enjoyed spending summers in Rhode Island.
He was a World War II US Army veteran, and a Life member of LeFoyer.
Armand was the proprietor of Darlington Sash and Door Company, Pawtucket for 21 years until retiring in 1983.
He leaves a son, Armand E. Lapierre, Jr. of Warwick; a daughter, Elaine M. Lapierre of Pawtucket; two granddaughters, Nicole and Jamie Lapierre and nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Arthur E. and Alfred G. Lapierre, Jr.
VISITATION will be Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
