Antonio L. DaSilva
CUMBRLAND - Antonio L. DaSilva, 92, died Tuesday in the Philip Hulitar Center,Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Emilia (DaNave) DaSilva.
Born in Meridia,Portugal he was the son of the late Manuel Lopes DaSilva and Maria (Ferreira) DaSilva. He resided in Cumberland for over 50 years.
He was a construction worker until his retirement having worked for various Rhode Island area firms.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church and a member of the Clube Juventude Lusitana, Cumberland.
He leaves a son Armand DaSilva and a brother Jose Lopes both of Cumberland. Mr. DaSilva also leaves three grandchildren, Ashley, Corey and Courtney DaSilva all of Cumberland. He was the brother of the late Piedade Lopes and Olinda Ferreira.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Dr., Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
