Ann L. Bejma
PAWTUCKET - Ann L. (Pelen) Bejma, 90, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Charles J. Bejma and the late Albert W. Johnson.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Paul W. and Mary I. (Davis) Pelen, she had lived in Pawtucket for most of her life.
Mrs. Bejma was the International Traffic Manager for Teknor-Apex, Pawtucket for many years before retiring.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Pawtucket where she was a former member and Past President of its Women's Guild. She was a member and Past Matron of Seekonk Chapter #209, Order of the Eastern Star, Seekonk, MA; an honorary member and Past President of the Pawtucket Women's Club; and a Past President of the General Federation of Women's Clubs of Rhode Island.
She is survived by one daughter, Jayne L. Bellows and her husband, Bradford of Cumberland; one son, Robert A. Johnson of Pawtucket; one stepdaughter, Bethany L. Force and her husband, Mark of Seekonk, MA; one brother, Paul T. Pelen and his wife, Susan of Milford, DE; seven grandchildren; three great grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late William L. Pelen.
Ann's funeral will be celebrated on her 91st birthday on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16 at 8:30 A.M. from BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Requiem Eucharist at 10 A.M. in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 50 Park Place, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
