WOONSOCKET - Angela (Buoncristiani) McAlice, 81, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon at The Friendly Home in Woonsocket after her family said goodbye. She was the widow of the late Charles I. McAlice.
Born on September 25, 1929 in Fall River, MA to Faustino and Theresa (Martini) Buoncristiani, Angela lived in Pawtucket most of her life before retiring first to Cumberland and then Woonsocket.
She is survived by three daughters: Carol McAlice Currie and her husband Don of Salem, OR, Patricia F. Cicione and her husband Matthew of Norton, MA and Priscilla T. Steenbergen and her husband Walt of Woonsocket; seven grandchildren: Leah, Matthew and Joseph Cicione, Caitlin and Gillian Currie, and Charles and Mitchell Steenbergen; one brother: John Buoncristiani of Danielson, CT; one aunt Margaret Mattos of Fort Washington, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her parents and sister Marian Campbell.
The funeral for Mrs. McAlice Will be Wednesday, June 1st at 9:00am from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in in St. Aidan's Church, 164 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland, RI. At 10:00a.m. Burial will be private at Rhode Island Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Friends and family are invited to call Tuesday from 4 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
