Americo P. Ambrosio
PAWTUCKET - Americo P. Ambrsio, 72, of McCabe Ave. died Sunday surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Aldina C. (Alves) Ambrosio.
Born in Fornos, Algodres, Portugal he was the son of the Luis and Maria J. (Lopes)Ambrosio. He came to this country in 1975 living in Cumberland for three years and moved to Pawtucket in 1978.
He was employed by the North East Cable Corp., South Attleboro for 30 years until his retirement.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Cumberland and a member of the Portuguese Social Club and the Uniao Benificente, both of Pawtucket.
Besides his wife he leaves two children, Olga Custodio of North Providence and Antonio Ambrosio of Warwick. Three grandchildren, Marissa, TJ and Haley. He also leaves two brothers and four sisters. May he have eternal peace.
His funeral will be held Thursday at 8 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Dr., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
